About EU GREEN

We are a transnational Alliance of nine European universities aiming to be Your Gateway to Sustainability. We are peripheral and regionally anchored, while globally oriented, that is why we are strategically aligned for the engagement with all of the European regions. EU GREEN's WP3 - Research is led by the University of Angers (France) and co-led by the University of Parma (Italy). The WP3 is dedicated to structuring research collaboration between the universities of the alliance.

All parts of the projects (the work packages) are connected together

To know more about the general project, go to the EU GREEN official website.

What is the Work Package 3 – Research?

EU GREEN’s third work package is dedicated to Research. It is led by the University of Angers (France) and co-led by the University of Parma (Italy).

The WP3 is subdivided as follows:

The Joint Research Commission: composed of the vice-rectors of research, it is the decision-making body of the WP3. Learn more about the JRC here.

Joining us

How to join a cluster

  1. Contact eugreenwp3@univ-angers.fr and the relevant cluster leader. You will be granted access to the WP3 teams plateform and all relevant documents.
  2. Go to the “general” channel, then in the “files” page.
  3. Fill in the “WP3 participants” with your full name, email address and key words for your research topic. Be mindful as these key words might be used for partner search and for presentation during staff weeks.

What are the topics tackled in the research clusters?

Clusters aren't  meant to be closed boxes: newcomers are always welcome, and new thematics can be declined in subgroups. See the figure below, updated in March 2024, regarding these subgroups.

Research strategy

This document is the first deliverable of our work package. It aims to define the key research lines for the alliance, and to provide a long-term roadmap for addressing key global challenges. The strategy also identifies the strengths of the individual universities in the alliance and identifies the grounds for building successful common research projects.
