Mitochondrial dysfunction in neurological diseases and male fertility - looking for a partnership

Dr Marco Spinazzi from Mitovasc research unit, University of Angers, is looking for collaborations in research in Mitochondrial dysfunction in neurological diseases and male fertility. He is open to collaborations and is also looking for a potential co-supervisor to apply to the doctoral allowance call from EU GREEN in 2024.

As PI of a team in Mitovasc and and an MD with an involvement in clinical care too, his aim is to identify key pathogenetic mechanisms of mitochondrial diseases in vivo using mouse models and patients material using pathological, molecular and omics approaches. 

The field of collaboration could involve not only mitochondria, but also bioinformatics for the analysis of omics data, immunology, pharmacology, mass spectrometry/proteomics.
